Lighting a Horse Menage calls for a different kind of lighting design than say for instance a Car Park. One of the most important components of this is to eliminate shadows as these can spook the animal. Choosing the right column size is important as well as choosing the right Floodlights all contribute to lighting the arena to a required lux levels and uniformity required by the customer.
The Horse Menage was going to be used at competition level for a combination of Dressage and Showjumping events. We also had to take in consideration when choosing the columns and floodlights the neighbouring properties to keep light spillage at a minimum. We produced a lighting level that hit all the key factors required for the customer on lighting levels, light spillage to a minimum as well as light uniformity across the arena.
We were approached by the end customer who are a Water Treatment Works to top up their pre existing yard lighting as they moved to a 24 hour working site and adding new storage bins of aggregates within the site. With heavy plant machinery moving around the site next to foot traffic it was important to get the correct light levels. We provided our lighting design to complement the lighting currently in place and to maximise lighting above the new areas where the aggregates would be stored for safety reasons. The end result was a well lit yard with the end customer provided with an excellent lighting design and materials before work was complete to install the new storage facilities on site.
Having purchased a piece of land to make an additional car park for both parents and staff Perfect Start needed a solution to illuminate their car park that was viable and cost effective. Due to the proximity of the car park to get electricity via laying cables and digging trenches wasn't a viable option. This is where a reliable Solar Lighting choice became the solution to their problem to illuminate the area for dark mornings and evenings.

This project was a tennis court in a private residence, it needed illuminating to a high standard of lighting but also keeping in mind neighbouring properties. Due to this requirements the columns needed to be at a smaller height than usual, despite this we still had to keep the light level uniform on the court playing area. Our final design produced a lighting level that hit all the key factors required for the customer on lighting levels, keeping light spillage to a minimum as well as excellent uniformity across the Tennis Court. The end result was the Tennis Court now has light levels that where between club and county levels at a private residence.
We were tasked by a residential street find an LED replacement luminaire fitting that would replace some traditional incandescent lighting that had been installed 50 years previous. Due to the heritage location of the site is was important to design and choose a luminaire that was in keeping with the area but also provided an upgrade on previously installed lighting. By incorporating modern design principles and cutting-edge technology, we were able to deliver an LED replacement luminaire fitting that seamlessly blends with the historic surroundings while elevating the lighting experience.
The end result was using the Victoria lantern which allowed to be installed on existing columns and which also blended in with the location. These luminaires were used as the design called for something that was traditional to keep in with the heritage location but also taking advantage of the reliability of LED Luminaires. By selecting the Victoria lanterns, the design successfully balanced tradition with modern technology. The use of LED luminaires not only met the reliability requirements but also enhanced the overall look of the area.
